Been looking at some 1 ton feed buggys and thinking one might help the old man (me) haul feed. GWS and Versa-Tote are available locally. Has anyone have experience using a feed buggy, does the feed slide out fairly good, do they road ok without spring suspension?

I have a Feed Train brand portable feed buggy. It works great. Mine doesn't have a auger like the photo below, just a slide door on the back to fill buckets. I use it to bucket supplement my breeding bulls off season. I drop it off at the feed store when empty, and they fill it, then park it where I can get it next time I'm through. They have their place. I used to use a gravity wagon in a barn, but the buggy pulls fast down the road, you can back it around easily, and it's waterproof so I can park it anywhere on the farm without fooling with a tarp. There is a lot less mess leaving it next to where I am feeding. Keeps the feed out of the barn where the coons always seem to find it.

We sell at our dealership the Patriot brand, they also are nice and guys like them.
