central illinois | I raised 4 hogs one for myself and 3 for friends … it’s a loosing proposition I know but I can’t stand store bought pork chops … first of all I didn’t keep track of costs (don’t really care) lol … but if friends were going to pay for their processing what’s a fair price to charge for the animal?… last year processing was around 350 at local place … hogs are around 280-300 .. like I said not trying to make bank just curious what’s a fair deal 500, 600, or 700?
