 NW MN | I’m don’t see what the issue is with his messages. He’s talking with union supporters and says exactly what I would think is being said.
Both sides hope to cause enough harm that the other side is more reasonable, in their respective view, in negotiating. That’s the point of a strike.
Both sides have this game planned out and a friendly White House didn’t seem to help the railroad workers much. The other big union action this year with UPS is somewhat of a different story.
If I understood correctly UAW is 150,000 union workers across the 3 companies now and UPS itself is 340,000 full and part time by the teamsters.
The big 3 can move manufacturing abroad or keep it abroad. UPS is different story | |
