It always boils down to politics and ego.
Fair wage is necessary, but I wonder how much more they can take automation or mexican factories with plentiful labor options and send more jobs down the road.
Simple want to keep the foreign made stuff out. Tariffs!
Other countries use them on us. To many billionaires profiting
On the mark up of cheap foreign goods.
