Split the tracts up however the seller and auctioneer deem best, sell each tract individually and leave it sold.
This nonsense of combining tracts allows someone with real deep pockets to sit on their hand until the end and then buy the whole shebang with one bid. At that point everyone else is SOL as they don’t have $20 million to drop on a single purchase. Effectively the real deep pockets never have to bid up until everyone else is done and you limit their competitors. |
