East Central South Dakota | In 2014 ADM entered into a partnership with North Central Cooperative and built a 60,000 ton wholesale/retail fertilizer shed. North Central then merged with Wheat Growers Cooperative to form Agtegra Cooperative, so now ADM is in partnership with Agtegra. September 1st of this year ADM sold 50 percent of the total site to Prairie Grain Partners, LLC. Prairie Grain is a 50/50 partnership between ADM/Benson-Quinn. So, yes, we do have a very large fertilizer shed for wholesale and now farmer direct sales. It leveraged our circle track that is already in place for the grain side. As you can see with the trail of ownership, agriculture is a very dynamic industry. |
