If paid for in cash, that ground will generate positive cashflow in 2024.
But less positive cash flow than if it had just been left in the bank at rates offered by CDs, high yield savings, or treasuries... In fact, leaving it in the "bank" or other investment could have covered what the ground would cash flow, plus a few vacations and a new car per year. Or maybe the bidders both had a treasure map we don't know about, and this farm had an "x" on it. |
