If it's trending dry in spring covers will be killed in that April 15-20 timeframe. If we have very adequate rains I'll plant green and terminate within a few days of planting. 2014 was a year where it rained repeatedly after planting and it was over 2 weeks before I sprayed the covers out in VE-1 corn. That's the worst case.
