Doesn’t have to be and isn’t. Watched a tract bring 14k and change near there many years back.
About 15-20 years ago a friend in my area showed me a newspaper clipping about that farm near Malta Bend that sold for 14K per acre..He was sick about it as he grew up on a nearby 240-320 acre farm...His Dad some how lost it in the 1980's farm crisis..He always said that his Dad didnt try hard enough to hang on to it.
