Pilot Grove, Missouri
Tom I added elemental sulfur to my spring applied P&K applications this year so looking forward to fall results but so hard to tell with vastly different rain/weather year to year even if the last two years have both been drought years.

I only did 10 lbs elemental S with my creek bottom fields I run a corn/bean rotation (cost was about 50 cents a lb). Smaller Wilmar spreaders at local coop are good for about 40 feet and I usually double spread and have not seen any streaking issues. I probably will up the rate to 20 lbs next year on beans. Local coop also now has AMS regularity available so I think I will add about 25 units of N with AMS to my corn spring P&K to get my S and back off my NH3 by the same amount of N units.

My hilltops that have a bean/SRW-DC bean rotation I have started this year as well doing my two spring N application with AMS (about 60-70 total units of N) so they will get plenty of S as well so no elemental with the P&K on the bean years for those fields. Not sure this year if I will also use AMS for fall starter fertilizer on my SRW or still use Urea and the FC to incorporate before planting to avoid volitional.
