What I’ve seen from Climate , is “normal “ , frontal passage storms , seem fairly accurate. The pop-up , short lifespan storms we have been getting this year , are all over the board in amounts and actual areas covered. A quite a few storms this summer just a mile or less apart , went from 1.5 inches to .10 received.
