Subject: Fall applied fertility, how to handle sulfur? Elemental, AMS, Gypsum?

20 miles west of Indianapolis Indiana
I have been 100% spring fertilizer on corn and Soy’s the past few years and utilized AMS as my source of Sulfate for corn and soybeans. The past 2 springs I have had to wait on fertilizer to get spread to plant some farms. So I’m going to do 1/3 to 1/2 of my fertilizer this fall and see if that helps.

I can’t decide how to address sulfur. My local retailer is trying to get me to use Elemental. He claims he likes it better the spring AMS anyway.
I am considering trying some gypsum to see if that is any better (it would be a much higher sulfur rate).

Any suggestions or experience with fall applied sulfur vs spring and successes or disappointments?
