my only experience is with rye. flew on over my corn 3 weeks ago caught around 1" of rain an would guess 50 percent is up and growing so far. did same last year with good results. Flew on just before corn started to turn could have went earlier. Have done the same with beans with mixed results flying on just before beans turn.
