I have run into a bad batch of wrap that did that. Deere, Vermeer, and NH don't make their own wrap either so just need to find a reputable company. I run my needle about straight up which I think is 1500?
NH will make a flatter bale than a Deere. Typically can tell a field baled by a deere just by driving by... I think the newer ones are better now tho.
