I engineered my own air-ride cab conversion using the cab struts from a 2008+ IH Prostar. They are a pretty creative design that integrates the air bag and shock into a self-contained strut. They eliminate the need to use a panhard rod or other linkages as they only allow vertical movement. They are also available aftermarket for about $150/pair

I have converted two Ford FT-900 semis from hockey puck cab to air ride cab using these struts. It's not quite the same as a real air ride cab but its a huge improvement over stock. I run about 20psi in the struts and it provides enough give to smooth out the ride. Combined with an air ride seat it makes these old simple trucks much more pleasant to drive.
