SW OH
I grew up with Jerseys but barely remember having a bull before going all AI. Dad always told me never get near a bull without a weapon. His choice was a pitch fork. I'm on my 6th Angus bull of my own. I've had a few that were hard to deal with. I've been challenged by probably each of them. I've whacked them on the nose and even stuck one with a fork.

My current bull has been the best so far. I bought him at 12 months of age and he is 4 now and about 2,000 pounds. He will sort of come when I call his name. At the bunk if I yell back up several times, he will. I can walk up to him, scratch his head, lean on him, and he doesn't care. I have talked to him and pet and scratched him almost every day I've had him.
