Why do people always drive in the same place?
Scoot over to the unused middle and shoulder.
Probably any track tractor is going to be running in the same unused strip.

I agree. On gravel roads you always have to be moving around to keep the gravel from building up to the sides. The worst roads are the ones where both directions drive in the same two tracks making the worst washboards.

We have quads and Challengers and they are the best toys packers out there. One field we can't get to with our semis because it is too steep to the mountain so 3 miles of hauling grain from the field to the trucks with quads and 1,000 bushel carts on a steep grade. After 30 round trips it was packed smooth. Later neighbor came and harvested his field with 10 wheelers and chewed our nicely packed road all up. If we used 10 wheelers we would have done the same thing.

Your road is still smooth in your picture. Reality is your road is still in great shape.
