Southern Indiana | True that the jersey bull is one of the meanest critters on earth, and in high school my girlfriends brother never got close to their Holstein bull without a heavy pipe. In my opinion Angus bulls not only produce what the buyers want but are very manageable.
I did have one though who wanted to fight everything he came across including bale feeders, water tanks, tractors, Bush hogs, and Mirafount waterers. He was a prolific breeder but no bull is good enough to put up with that nonsense, and life is too short to spend time in an emergency room or worse because of a bull. | |
