SE Iowa | It’s a cherry picked ear for sure on top of a tile line on the creek bottom and also a tendency of this hybrid.
My top number last few years (not planted here but on our more productive fields) is almost a 16 on every ear no matter what. I have found a few 14s and a few 18s but they are absolutely rare with that number. Even so the 16 round on that number make barrels for ears compared to most. | |
