I use to bale sudan with big round baler. Didn't have a wrap system. If you bale it too wet it will heat and mold all the way through. If it's very tall you've really got to crimp it pretty good or it doesn't dry well. Waist high is not bad to work with. At full height it would be better to chop and bag, pile or put in silo.
