I'd let if freeze and harvest in the snow. I doubt that is an option in Arkansas.
Ground froze hard enough to drive anywhere you wanted to go in '94... haven't seen it have much more than a good frost in it in years. When it's go time, you go. That's what tracks and mud hogs are made for.
