 NW Iowa | I have ran one since '17. The head should be run around 720rpm. I will run mine down to 680, depending on speed.
Never have much going through unless its super dry and the tops bust off going down.
Edit- after watching video, speed it up
But if it's really dry, there is not much you can do. Any head will pull it in, just nothing left holding the plant together.
You can wait until the wind blows the tops off.....
Also, don't open your plates up, keep them tight, just not so tight your are breaking the bottom of the stalks off.
Edit- I also remove all the knives off the front and the flaps/brackets on top of the snoots.
I also have the readout from geringhoff that shows my head speed.
