What are you filling? Silos, bags, bunker or pile makes a big difference. We ran a jd 6750 for 12 years only once had a tech out that had to be a specialist. Other times were for engine work. I fill silos with a NH 40 blower and make 9 ft bags with an Ag bagger and about the best I can do is around 100 ton per hour. So size according to your storage. We have ran a claas 850 for 1 year and yes it is a little more hp but man will it eat compared to the deere. I think crop flow is the main driver and no right angle gear box. Now the wear maintenance is less often on the claas but I think increased cost of parts will make it equal to the deere to run. What I have learned is dealer is key but I am 2.5 to 3 hours from a good mechanic so it makes it a challenge.
