| Ranching and cattle have long gotten a bad rap concerning the "environment." When it comes to recycling, there isn't an industry even close. Railroad ties, turned tractor tires for feeders, earth mover tires for water tanks and all the oil field pipe and sucker rod. Go to any farm and ranch auction and with today's prices, the rolls of used wire and stacks of sound used posts bring good money. Ranch vehicles are often on multiple rebuilt or used engines, tranny's, water pumps alternators etc. I'm rebuilding a calf shelter with a pile of used lumber and galvanized siding right now.
Anyone built a windbreak from used EV batteries or windmill blades :) | |
