East of Broken Bow
I can't afford new equipment like that, I have to get used ones, LOL.

In all seriousness, if you watch ebay, you can get some of the old high-quality made in USA ones for less than the import new ones.
Ones to look for are Utica, ChannelLock (still made in the USA and still top notch) Crescent (watch this brand, they make an import identical to the old USA made ones and they are all but identical),
The USA made Diamond are pretty good too, but not quite as good as the first 3 I mentioned.
As my dad was getting older, he'd often misplace his fence pliers. I bought him a new pair of ChannelLocks, and he felt guilty, that he lost my old pair and had to get new ones. Since then, I started buying used ones on ebay that were pre-aged, and if he lost a pair, I could 'find' them behind the seat of the pickup or in a tractor toolbox or whatever. He was born in the depression, and he'd feel guilty losing one of my tools, this way he didn't have to fret. Besides, I usually got ones that were better than most new ones for less money, anyway.
