How much variation do you see in yield year to year?

On a percentage, you win because zero times infinity is still less than your highest yield.

My worst yields ever were due to hail, .5 bu dryland and .9bu irrigated, for the whole field.
Best dryland was 195, best irrigated was 230, again for the whole field.

Typically, I expect the irrigated to make between 185-225 year to year, excluding the years with exceptional drought, hail, etc. I have far more things that cut yields than grow them.

Dryland is pretty much a crap shoot. 50-150 will catch me 80-90% of the time
