| I agree. This was not my normal protocol as I had added 10 bred heifers this past year. They calved later than my group, were on very poor groceries trying to feed a calf and breed back at the same time, and were just not given a fair shot.
The ones that didn’t breed in that window were given a second chance to breed and they all took. I’ll evaluate them and likely sell as pairs when they calve. | |
