Claremont,MN | I think your problem is in what you are trying to do. every planter clinic we have went to they have told us to make the planter run level or slightly up hill even. what they are talking about is the row unit not the parallel linkage. I don't think your need your parallel linkage to be strait as a mater of fact at the clinics we have always been told that you should be able to turn your gauge wheel by hand after planting a little ways and stopping. you only need enough down pressure to get the disk openers to stay in the ground at a constant depth | |
