Glenwood, Mn

tw35 - 9/14/2023 20:18 60bu difference in corn from 21 to 22. Worst corn I remember yield was 50% of highest.

APH here is 191.  Lowest I've farm averaged was 94.  Highest 212.  So year to year can have half give or take.  Hail, greensap, drought and flooding.  Sell 50% of your production they say.  Sure, insurance can make you somewhat whole but 50% sold can be 100% pretty dang fast here.  I have had hail payout 5 of 13 years.  We get some every year.
