Start with a curb stop then put in a tee, one side of the tee continues to your waterer, the other side of the tee put a second curb stop that is connected to nothing on the other side and when opened it can drain into a rock pit. If you want you can close the water supply line, open the drain curb stop and hook air up at the outlet end and blow line out to the pit.
