 Thumb of Michigan | I don't know about soybeans, but with hay (grass/alfalfa) the stomates (leaf/stem openings that respirate water/oxygen, while taking in CO2) will re-hydrate over night with a dew. Naturally, the plant usually loses/uses more moisture than the dew provides during the day. However, once hay gets below around 47% moisture, the stomata permanently close. | |
