Nothing like a complete replacement chain on hand!
Of course I used to keep up with 9 JD wagons all with the same conveyor. The complete replacement usually was only good for the first one. The next one got fixed with a combination of the two wrecked chains and a half dozen connecting links.
As mentioned above, rear unload is an ace in the hole if you have it.
Anyone need a free load of silage?
