We load from tub thru slider at the farm and thru the swinging door from 8' alley from another place. Both work good, but I think a little easier thru the slider. Only problem is when they load and just stand in front of the door without moving forward.
If you treat the tub as a holding pen they can get turned around and cause problems. But if you keep them moving you shouldn't have any issues.
