CNY | I had part of a field I no tilled some sorghum sudangrass in after the wheat came off. Just for a little extra cow feed. Drilled it 8/4 put 300 lbs/acre 1/2 urea 1/2 ammonium sulfate 8/28. August was very cool and wet here finally got a week of 90+ the week after Labor Day now cooler & wet again. I hire my baling and wrapping done am going to have my guy here next week to do some hay I figured he might as well do the sudan while he’s here? He says it should be at least 2’ tall I think it will be close. Any other risks with making it as baleage at this stage? I know there can be problems with frost but we shouldn’t get one until at least the beginning of October. Would you do it next week or wait longer? Thanks
