4T was the old bench mark. At platteville I was taught that was the worst possible outcome with rain ect now. I believe 80's and 90's that was the bench mark now it is much less I believe around 2 ton if not less with the change in practices. 80 and 90s vs now how many guys are mold boarding? How many guys are running 3-4 passes of tillage? How many Guys are cultivating ever acre? Not many. Do I believe in reducing tillage? You bet ya but no till is not the answer in my area.
