northeast ohio | A few weeks back I posted information about a weed control field day. This morning I stopped by the CFAES Wooster Campus to see how the demonstration plots were looking. Plantings are timed for two weeks from today. Beets are just out of the ground and the corn spiked a day or so ago and looks great. Talked with the operations team and they say that the cabbage transplants are going in yet this week. Most vendors won't show up until the event, however Carbon Robotics https://carbonrobotics.com/autonomous-weeder has a demo unit on campus already and the Sabanto equipped Kubota M5 https://sabantoag.com/ is being prepared for a mowing demo. Looks to be a great event in the works.

Location map. https://goo.gl/maps/jJda8ebV19au8jyY8 FYI - If you bring along someone not interested in weed control there is an excellent public arboretum on campus and the downtown (2 miles) has lots of shops and unique restaurants.
