Put a set of trash whips and birming discs on each row and have a ripper stripper. Then you can plant corn on them strips and fill them strips up with roots and then you will never have to come back to that spot again. After 2 or 3 years you're profile will be filled up with roots pretty good.

Roots will fix compaction iron does not
