I wouldn’t rip every year unless I owned my own oil refinery.

All depends on soil type. Where I worked in Georgia you could rip twice a year & see a benefit. Where I live now I don’t think it benefits doing it more than once every 4-5 years and that’s only if the whole soil profile is dry, which isn’t very often
