Ft recovery oh | Built this silo to hold us over on silage for a couple years with the intention of filling it with earlage or ground hmsc down the road. There were a few 24 x 90s in the area that guys got along with good. Price was a major motivator also. At the time about 1/3-1/2 the cost of a poured or stave silo.
The crew finished on Thursday but couldn’t get the tripod back together. So ended up pulling it out and disassembling the unloader on Friday. We started filling Saturday and finished up on Sunday evening about 10 it was as full as we could stack it. By midnight it was laying on the ground.
Quite the experience for a just married guy with his first kid on the way.
