Here in the MidAtlantic we were in a moderate drought. Started on corn Friday and in the same 8 rows from end to end it has varied from 83bu at 17.5 moisture to 253bu at 26.3 moisture.
Our ground is probably quite a bit more variable than the ground out there. But when you get rain the variability all but disappears.
