Central KS | Was going to start swathing our 12” double crop beans this week. Got the first rain on them in a month today.
Being that it’s September 11 I’m assuming it is too late for them to do anything grain wise? They would basically need to start over at the bloom stage.
If it’s too late for grain, would it pay to wait to swath? Will the plant continue to put out new leaves even though the days are getting shorter, or will it focus entirely on grain production that will never happen? | |
