Seems like the hog market isn't quite like the cattle market. Seems there's plenty of cattle guys with the same thinking as you, not near as many in the hog market and probably getting to be less. If you're set on getting into pigs, I'd wait until you can pencil a profit first. Likely still have plenty of chance to get in before the rest of the crowd.
Is it a good time to get into pigs?
