I live in Southern Warren Co. Rainhas even vary inconsistent where I live. Central & northern part of the county has been at least normal or better. A few farmers starting to shell corn, only know of 1 bean field cut & it was on sand & actually in northern Vermillion Co. So far everyone is tight lipped on yields. Did talk to 1 guy, hired man, who's said their corn was 22.5 -23% , this was on sand. Son says we're going to try some beans later today, look a little green to me. . My guess, our corn will be off ~ 10% from the last couple years, problem close to aph. Early season beans look to be the best IMO, expect fuller seasons to drop off because of late season heat & little rainfall.
