North Central Ohio | Update... after lowering the head, most of the weave went away (with the compact valve installed). Apparently, the back end gets pretty light when empty. Because we can't calibrate with the head lowered, we are going to put a partial load on the machine and recalibrate the compact valve. That should put some weight back on the steering wheels and get us a better calibration. We had been testing the autosteer with the header up and didn't think it would make that much of a difference, but it truly did. As soon as you lift the head, it weaves pretty bad. We had tested the large valve with the head down, but still had considerable weave. I think we are making progress... | |
