SW OH | We have about a dozen MX13s at work. When they get up around 300-400,000 miles on them the repairs add up. There's a coolant line behind the air compressor that likes to break off. The amount of time and work to replace is like 40-60 hours. These engines are in Peterbuilts and Kenworths. Drivers do not like them. They complain they are gutless at 430 HP. After changing the fuel filters takes hours to get running unless you buy an expensive bleeder kit. Those engines should have been left in Europe.
