I’d rather put up with them than coyotes .
I respectfully couldn't disagree more. Coyotes at least in my area aren't aggressive at all, they feast on dead stuff and don't mess with live stuff. Hogs on the other hand do a tremendous amount of damage to the ground.

Hogs don’t kill calves , last I checked.

I guess I’ll agree to respectfully disagree .

A hog will go after a newborn calf so fast it isn't even funny. They chase blood. Once they smell it, whatever is bleeding or has blood on it is a target.

Coyotes eat baby pigs. I don't shoot coyotes because they only eat dead cattle. Only exception to that is young and dumb coyotes that form a pack. Bullet or two making a few dead stop the pack. Trailer house neighbor decided to be a big husky breeder. That changed the game and took some time to kill out. Problems gone now.

My crew will kill or trap over 600 hogs this year. I use traps of every kind, thermal, drones, and just driving around shooting the crap out of them.

I'll take coyotes any day over some dang hogs.
