Thanks for the reply. The intention was always to get a liquid product control module. But I'm cheap and was hoping to find a used one, but they don't seem to come up very often. There are a few other reasons as well, procrastination for one. I'm hoping more used ones will turn up now with the availability of the L2 module.
The fliers are an irritant, not really a problem. I pretty much only use 2 rates, irrigated and dryland, Right or wrong some fields are all one rate. The mapping is more to identify a possible reason for problems that may show up later.
The control module would allow me to setup some blocks to double check N rates. And it, no doubt, would do better than me at switching rates for the pivot corners.
I have an implement switch (3pt activated) on the planter, but I think I need a different cable. I really need more forward thinking and check this all out in the winter, instead of thinking I'm going to figure it out at the last moment.
