You are doin the right thing. Several year ago we had 1200 acres almost flat. Started harvesting and drying weeks ahead of everyone else, pretty well finished those acres before beans. Started to rain and the neighbors trying to get that down corn didn’t have much fun. Also when the cor is down the green stalks on a dry day sucked into the head pretty well.
Boy this corn that goosenecked at end of June is fun!
