If you're going to beans make sure to inoculate them. My vote would be fall burndown, spring burndown, plant corn no-till. Then if it needs smoothed up do something after the corn comes off.

I once took out some CRP to go to hay. Had to plow it and then took 6 or 7 passes with the disc, few passes with a heavy drag, and ultimately disc and cultipacker to get it smooth. Luckily it was only 10 acres, but man was it ever a rough ride. Hardest 10 acres I've worked for in my career lol
