West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | Like you don't own an EV, but chances are pretty good I will in the not so distant future. If it wasn't for me adopting electric lift gates on my semi trailers and electric pallet jacks back in the late 90's early 2,000's a few of this forums users might still be lifting seed bags by hand. It was amazing the terrain we could traverse with an electric pallet jack carrying 3,000lbs. pallets if the ground was frozen.
I like your comment about the Amish, and find it kind of ironic that most Amish people are still riding around in a horse powered buggy, while at the same time many of those same Amish people are adopting new solar and wind power technologies at a much faster rate than most of their English neighbors. Next thing you know the Amish will all be riding around in a new Teslas...with some type of wood composite, or steel tires of course.
